System Architecture ULTIMA*HUB has evolved into reliable high technology solution for the medical sector based on J2EE technology. It is flexible in its selection of data management systems and integration solutions. It can be deployed with various cost-reduced software platform configurations. Java and J2EE platform dictate the use of application server/container along with HTTP servers. The server side of the system can be deployed on Microsoft Windows, UNIX, Linux operating systems (OS) as a non-heterogeneous solid platform or cluster of heterogeneous platforms (operating systems). One the client side is a web browser thus allowing the deployment of a client workstation on any operating system. The system would be developed using Java Sever Pages (JSP) and J2EE technologies.
