SPIDER is an accounting system for the telecommunications sector and assists in automating office duties at telecommunications offices, which handle payments with network users and agents, charge tariffs from a pool of many user accounts, keep registries under various tariff charts, generate bills for communication services, and conclude "flexible" contracts with users in terms of various settlement algorithms.
The core purpose of the system is to serve as an alternative, inexpensive product for the telecommunications market of small to medium sized trunk communications operators. In the final stage the system will also be certified.
